Abu Laban's terror ally calls for strikes against Denmark
Ayman al-Zawahri, top man in Al Qaida, now calls for terror attacks and boycot on Denmark and the rest of the countries where the cartoons were printed, reports Reuters Sunday. In a tape posted Saturday al-Zawahri urges similar strikes as those against New York, London and Madrid.
Abu Laban, the imam from Denmark who launched the cartoon war, is linked to Ayman al-Zawahrid having worked as his translator in the early 90'es. Abu Laban seem to be working closely along the lines set up by the Islamic brotherhood to create Islamic supremacy in Europe, described by Olivier Guitta, a foreign affairs consultant, in Weekly Standard (link here) and known as "The Project".
"The Project" became known in November 2001, as Swiss authorities entered the villa of a man named Yusuf Nada, the treasurer of the Al Taqwa bank, which allegedly funneled money to al Qaeda. In their search of Nada's house, investigators stumbled onto "The Project," an unsigned, 14-page document dated December 1, 1982.
According to Wikipedia, Abu Laban is persona non grata in the UEA and Egypt because of his Islamist views.
