"Religions Don't Have Human Rights and Islam Has No Special Place"

Though a bit late I'll link to this great letter of support to Free Speech by Roy Brown, President of The International Humanist and Ethical Union, an NGO devoted to the defence of human rights. Click headline.

Unfortunately, there is a particle in Islam that allows every one (muslim) to be a judge of other persons. If someone, with discussion or no discussion, feels that you offend his religion and have "strange" ideas, they can judge you for heresy. It's their right to correct by force & violence something wrong they see . That's the difference with other religions and with such mentality or "believes" you can't have a discussion, because if you can't express yourself correctly or somebody misunderstood what you say, misinterpret it, you can say goodbye to yourself and your family. With such behaviour, forget about any dialogue (the few reasonable muslims, can't change the principles followed by the other million ones).
